Point mutations
Plots of shape parameters, diagonal elements of stiffness matrices (diag K) and weighted shape parameters (σ = Kŵ) for the modified sequences, obtained as point mutations of the sequence 1 from the training data set.
Each figure contains four panels. The two panels on the left are plots of the intra base pair parameter diagonal couplings and the two panels on the right are plots of inter base pair (junction) parameter diagonal couplings. Rotational parameters are plotted in the top panels and translational parameters are in the bottom panels. Sequences are indicated on the abscissa of each plot.
For better visualization parameter values are interpolated by piecewice-linear curves, where solid lines correspond to the nearest-neighbour parameters estimated from the MD data, dashed-dotted lines correspond to the parameters, computed using a reconstructed stiffness matrix, and dashed lines correspond to the parameters reconstructed from our dimer dependent parameter set.
